J.J. Pfister Distilling Rancho Cordova, CA
JJPfister.com was designed and developed by a Lousiville, Kentucky-based agency, but with an imminent grand opening and launches of new products, J.J. Pfister Distilling needed some important changes and modifications to the site on a quick turnaround and felt they wanted to work with a local developer. On a referral from a colleague, we met, took a tour of their fabulous distillery and museum, talked strategy and got to work!
The site needed to be migrated from its old server to a new environment, and also suffered from some usability and information design issues that we quickly identified and remedied. We got oriented to the customization that the prior developer had made, assembled a punch list of changes that could be completed in a tight timeframe, and made it so. We followed up with training to get the in-house staff comfortable with adding new products and expanding the database of locations where J.J. Pfister spirits can be purchased and enjoyed.
Consultation, strategy, website migration, usability improvements, WordPress development, Photoshop work and content management training.
This project highlights our expertise at identifying usability issues that other designers and developers sometimes miss. Once we got familiar with the client’s business objectives, we were able to make some simple but profound changes that greatly improved the way people use and move through the website.
